The journey to becoming a
Buyer’s Agent

In 2016, after relocating from the UK, my husband and I were faced with finding our next family home here in Brisbane. While we’d purchased several properties back home, and were familiar with the process, navigating it in a new country proved more challenging than we’d expected. 

One of the key differences we encountered here was a lack of transparency, particularly around pricing. This created confusion and uncertainty, and our limited free time quickly became absorbed not only by property research and inspections, but also by assessing values to ensure we didn’t overpay.

With an active seven-year-old, and demanding corporate jobs, time was in very short supply. And what should have been an exciting stage of our new life in Australia, soon became exhausting and frustrating.

In the end, we found our dream home, but it came at the expense of precious family time. And we certainly weren’t alone. It seemed many buyers were experiencing frustration and overwhelm. 

What was needed was a way to cut through the confusion, provide the clarity needed to make informed decisions, and enable buyers to reclaim both their time and peace of mind. 

I was inspired to explore how I could make a difference, and soon found myself on the path to becoming a Buyer’s Agent.  

Today, as a fully licensed Buyer’s Agent, I feel privileged to be able to help busy families and time-poor professionals secure their ideal property with ease, streamlining the process so they can focus on what matters most. 

For me, being a Buyer’s Agent is about levelling the playing field between buyer and seller. It’s about providing buyers with a fair and equitable footing in a system that often seems stacked against them. And ensuring they are never left feeling powerless or unsure.
